Beekeeper Studio

Modern, easy-to-use SQL client for MySQL, Postgres, SQLite, SQL Server, Firebird, and more

Visit Beekeeper Studio

Beekeeper Studio is an open source, cross-platform desktop SQL client and database manager for connecting to databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, SQL Server, Oracle, Redis, and many others. It runs locally on your computer, works offline, and connects directly to your database without sending your data through a third party.

Its built-in SQL editor offers syntax highlighting, autocomplete, saved queries, and tabbed sessions. A spreadsheet-like data browser lets you view and edit table data directly, while the table creator and editor handle schemas, indexes, and foreign keys without writing SQL. Import and export support CSV, JSON, JSONL, and SQL formats. The AI Shell assists with writing and running SQL queries against your schema. Additional modules include a JSON sidebar, visual schema explorer (ERD), query result formatting, SSH tunnel and SSL connection support, and optional Cloud Workspaces for syncing and sharing connections and queries across a team.

Beekeeper Studio is aimed at developers and teams working with databases. It is packaged as a free, open source Community Edition alongside paid Indie, Professional, and Business editions, licensed per user with monthly or yearly billing and lifetime usage rights. A free trial is available without an account or credit card.
