Kolab Community
Open source email and groupware, self-hosted since 2003
Kolab is a free and open source communication and collaboration suite that can be fully self-hosted, giving organizations and individuals control over where their data is stored. It covers email, calendar, contacts, files, tasks, notes, and voice and video communication, and can be accessed through a web interface or existing mobile and desktop clients.
The suite includes mail transport with spam filtering, virus scanning, DKIM/DMARC/SPF support, and queuing, alongside IMAP/SMTP, CalDAV/CardDAV, and ActiveSync access protocols. It provides a webmail client with calendaring, tasks, and address book, a WebRTC-based video chat, file storage, collaborative document editing, and chat. The project is maintained by Apheleia IT AG and is intended for companies, families, and other groups that want to work and communicate together while retaining control of their data.
