Klaus AI

Fast and Safe OpenClaw on the cloud

Visit Klaus AI

Klaus was a hosted service that ran OpenClaw, an open-source assistant, on cloud infrastructure. It aimed to give users a managed way to run an assistant without setting up their own server. The service ended on September 1, 2026; the web app and all customer assistants are offline, and all subscriptions were cancelled before shutdown with no further charges. The in-app data export closed with the service, though users who downloaded an export can use it to move to a self-hosted assistant, and those who did not can email support for assistance.

Klaus was built on OpenClaw, an open-source project it did not own. Exports include a recovery prompt that restores a workspace, skills, and chat history into a new OpenClaw instance and guides the user through reconnecting channels such as Slack, Telegram, and WhatsApp. OpenClaw can be installed on a personal computer or a small cloud server, with migration between machines documented separately. For users who prefer not to run a server, the page points to KiloClaw, an independent company that hosts OpenClaw, and to Anthropic Cowork, a fully managed agentic workspace that does not carry over Klaus history.
