ifthenpay is a Portuguese fintech regulated by the Bank of Portugal that provides payment services for businesses across the European Economic Area. It supports collection through MULTIBANCO Reference, MB WAY, PAYSHOP, Credit Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Pix, connecting physical and digital channels including e-commerce, invoicing, and in-store payments.
The platform includes an online backoffice and mobile app for generating MULTIBANCO references and MB WAY requests, a Gateway for payment links on websites and forms, PINPAY for invoice and purchase payments via PIN code, ifthenpay.me QR Code payments, POS terminals (CLASSIC and SMART), and Direct Debits for recurring collections. Payments are notified in real time by email or push, with daily transfers and monthly billing. Integrations cover e-commerce platforms, billing software, and WordPress plugins such as WPForms, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, FluentForm, Formidable Forms, GiveWP, and an MCP Server.
ifthenpay is aimed at businesses handling B2B and B2C e-commerce, traditional invoicing, and in-person sales. Online payments carry no monthly fees, minimum transactions, lock-in periods, or exclusivity contracts, with per-transaction fees varying by method. POS terminals are offered on a monthly rental basis.
