Hoppscotch is an open source API development platform for composing and sending API requests. It supports REST requests with parameters, bodies, headers, authorization, and JavaScript pre-request and post-request scripts, alongside environments, collections, history, and shared requests.

The interface includes environment variables, collection and environment import, request code snippets, mock servers, and a documentation panel for each request. Authorization can be inherited from a collection, and scripts can set environment variables, assert response properties, and inspect status codes. A personal workspace organizes collections, environments, history, and shared requests, with a search and command menu and keyboard shortcuts.

It is intended for developers working with REST APIs, from individual request testing through to organizing and sharing request sets. The product is open source.
