Hike is a cloud-based point of sale, payments, and ecommerce platform for retail and hospitality businesses, founded in 2014 as an Australian company. It brings selling, inventory, customer management, and reporting into one system so products, orders, and customers stay in sync across in-store and online channels.
Core capabilities include built-in Hike Ecommerce, integrations with accounting, ecommerce, and marketing platforms, inventory and stock control across multiple outlets, customer profiles with loyalty programs and gift cards, advanced reporting, and API access. Payments are handled through built-in HikePay or existing providers, with hardware options including the Hike Register, CounterTop, Kiosk, Handheld, HikePay Terminal, and HikePay Reader. The software runs on PC, Mac, and iPad, supports 8 languages, and is compatible with most receipt printers and barcode scanners.
Hike is packaged in Essential, Plus, and Enterprise editions, with pricing varying by region, number of outlets, and registers. A free trial is available for the Essential and Plus plans, and Enterprise is quoted individually. Plans include unlimited products, users, customers, and turnover, with API access and customer display available on Plus and Enterprise.
