GetWiFi is a cloud-based service that authenticates users on public Wi‑Fi networks, primarily addressing the need for legal compliance in guest internet access. It solves the problem of reliably identifying users in hotels, restaurants, cafes, and similar venues by verifying their phone numbers via SMS or allowing access through pre‑generated vouchers, ensuring that operators meet regulatory requirements for user identification.
The service offers two main authentication methods: SMS‑based identification, where users enter a phone number and receive a one‑time code, and voucher‑based access, where operators create time‑limited login credentials. Key capabilities include unlimited SMS authorizations, automatic re‑identification of returning devices by MAC address, customizable login pages, post‑login redirection to a specified website, contact collection for marketing, and usage reports. GetWiFi supports routers from Mikrotik, Zyxel Keenetic, TP‑Link EAP Controller, and devices running DD‑WRT with Chillispot.
The solution is designed for operators of public Wi‑Fi networks, such as hotels, restaurants, and cafes. It is offered as two monthly plans per hotspot: one for SMS identification and another for voucher‑based access. Both plans include a 14‑day free trial period.
