FairEmail is a fully featured, privacy oriented email app for Android. It is 100% open source, easy to set up, and works with virtually all email providers (including Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) using standard protocols (IMAP, SMTP). It does not support non-standard protocols like Microsoft Exchange Web Services or ActiveSync. The app is designed to be minimalistic, battery-friendly, and low on data usage. It includes privacy features such as encryption/decryption (OpenPGP and S/MIME), phishing protection, tracking image blocking, and safe message view. Pro features (paid) add convenience like notification settings per account/folder/sender, snooze, scheduling, filter rules, automatic message classification, search indexing, S/MIME sign/encrypt, biometric/PIN authentication, and a message list widget.
