EscherSketch
An imperfect tool for drawing and exploring symmetrical patterns and designs.
EscherSketch is a web app for drawing symmetrical patterns. Users can draw with no symmetry, with a rosette (point group) pattern controlled by rotation and reflection parameters, or with one of the 17 classic wallpaper groups. A grid adjustment tool lets users move the center of the symmetry and scale the grid spacing. The app exports PNG images, pattern tiles (upsampled 4x for print DPI), and SVG files for further editing in vector tools.
