Pyxel Edit
Pixel art and tileset creation tool
Pyxel Edit is a pixel art drawing application designed for working with tiles. Tiles are placed to form a level, edited directly to see how they work together, and the tileset and level data can be exported for use in a game. Tiles can be flipped and rotated while remaining editable and synced. The application also supports animations, exported as sprite sheets or animated GIFs. It is built in Adobe Air and runs on Mac and Windows, and reportedly runs on Linux under Wine.
