Dgraph is an open-source, scalable, distributed, highly available graph database designed for real-time workloads, horizontal scalability, and data flexibility. Implemented as a distributed system, Dgraph processes queries in parallel to deliver fast results for complex workloads. It can be used as a property graph database for direct database operations and administration, or via its GraphQL API, which generates a GraphQL API and a graph backend from a GraphQL schema.
