Computable

The first open-source price index for GPU compute

Visit Computable

Computable GPU Index (CGI) is an open-source USD price per GPU-hour derived from the published on-demand rental rates of a fixed panel of providers. It addresses the lack of a shared reference rate for GPU compute, where providers quote different figures and existing indexes do not expose their data, method, or code. The index is computed as an interquantile mean over weighted votes, with rates collected every 15 minutes and votes in the outer thirds excluded from the value.

The index covers H100, H200, B200, and B300 SKUs, with live charts and history available for each. Data points are sourced and timestamped, and every published value can be recomputed from the public record using the open repository. An MCP endpoint provides anonymous, read-only access to the live index for agents, with no key required. The method and all parameters are published, and the pipeline is designed to tolerate missing or faulty sources.
