An integrated development environment designed for classroom use.

Visit Codeboard

Codeboard is a web-based IDE designed for teaching programming in classrooms, schools, universities, and MOOCs. It allows teachers to create programming exercises, share them via URLs, and automatically grade submissions using unit tests or custom test drivers. Teachers can inspect student submissions directly in the IDE and track progress with project-specific statistics. It integrates with educational platforms such as Coursera, edX, and Moodle to forward grades automatically. The platform supports languages including C, C++, Eiffel, Haskell, Java, and Python. It was started in 2014 as a research project at ETH Zurich and has over 100,000 users.
