Cockpit Project

A web-based graphical interface for administering Linux servers from a browser.

Visit Cockpit Project

Cockpit is a web-based graphical interface for administering Linux servers. It uses existing system APIs and commands rather than adding its own layer of tooling, so it works alongside the command line and other tools. It runs on demand via systemd socket activation and does not run in the background when unused. It supports single-sign-on and other authentication techniques for network-wide logins, and can be extended with optional and third-party apps or custom modules.
