Azimutt
Database explorer and analyzer for large and complex databases.
Azimutt is a database exploration, documentation, and design tool built to help users work with large, complex databases. It addresses the challenge of understanding and visualizing schemas and data across monoliths or microservices, supporting relational and document databases through connection URLs, SQL schema files, or JSON.
Core capabilities include schema and data exploration with relation-following and path-finding between tables, table and column documentation with notes and tags, saved layouts, and diagram design using the AML DSL. Azimutt also offers database analysis rules that flag schema and runtime issues, AI-generated SQL, and queries across multiple databases. Connectors cover PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase, BigQuery, and Snowflake, alongside a CLI, VS Code extension, and browser extension.
Azimutt is aimed at developers, architects, DBAs, data analysts, product managers, and support teams working with growing database systems. It is packaged as a free plan with limited quotas, a Solo plan for individual use, a seat-based Team plan with collaboration and AI features, and a custom Enterprise edition with higher limits, API access, user management, and on-premise support. Paid plans offer a free trial.
