Ycode is an open-source visual website builder and CMS for designing, hosting, and updating custom websites. It addresses the dependency that comes with closed platforms by letting users run the software themselves on their own infrastructure or use Ycode Cloud, a fully managed hosting option.
The builder includes a CMS for collections, fields, and structured content, plus reusable components and custom domains. AI features work with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, and xAI models for prompt-based layout and styling changes, conversational content management, and component creation. Self-hosting uses GitHub, Vercel, and Supabase.
Ycode is aimed at designers, creators, and teams building client or company sites. It is packaged as a free self-hosted open-source edition with unlimited users, pages, CMS items, and form entries, supported by the community, and a cloud edition with a free trial, automatic updates, global CDN hosting, a CMS item limit, and community and email support.
