Xeams is a mail server and email firewall for Windows, Linux, Solaris, macOS and other UNIX systems, supporting SMTP, POP3 and IMAP. It can run as a firewall in front of an existing server such as Microsoft Exchange, or as a complete standalone email server. It includes spam filtering, message archiving, live monitoring, clustering, and outbound features such as DKIM signing, OAuth 2.0 relay, REST APIs, email campaigns, and read-receipt plugins.
Xeams offers three modes of operation: standalone, firewall, and hybrid. It includes AI-powered junk filtering, end-to-end encryption, message archiving with fast search, clustering for high availability, and compliance support for regulations such as HIPAA, GLBA, and Sarbanes-Oxley. The platform integrates with Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace, and SIEM systems via Syslog. It supports SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, and STARTTLS, and includes features like policy management, quarantine reports, live monitoring, extensive reporting, and outbound troubleshooting.
Xeams is available in Community and Enterprise editions. The Community Edition is free for personal and hobbyist use with up to five users, excluding AI-powered filtering. The Enterprise Edition is licensed per instance with monthly or yearly subscription options, and includes features like OAuth 2.0 relay, end-to-end encryption, high-volume outbound, and plugins. A 30-day trial of the Enterprise Edition is available.
