Wright Electric is a U.S.-based aerospace and defense company that develops power systems for military, aviation, and commercial applications. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Malta, NY, the company builds motors, generators, inverters, and batteries intended to address power density and logistics challenges in defense operations and industrial power deployment.
Its product line includes the Dynamo expeditionary generator, the DenseGen 3750 containerized generator, the WM2500 motor, and battery systems. The DenseGen 3750 delivers 3.75 MW of power in a 20-foot ISO container at 50 or 60 Hz, built around the WM2500 electric motor with turbine integration from partner CFS Aero. It targets data centers, oil and gas, hospitals, manufacturing, and temporary or remote power deployments, and is available for pre-order with first deliveries anticipated in 2027.
