Workrave
Workrave
Workrave is a free program for GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows that monitors keyboard and mouse usage to support recovery and prevention of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). It alerts you to take microbreaks and rest breaks, and restricts you to a configured daily computer usage limit.
Breaks are configurable in duration and frequency, with a non-obtrusive break warning that can be forced or retried after a delay. A timer window shows progress for all three breaks and can be embedded as a taskbar applet. Statistics track breaks taken, ignored, and postponed, along with daily, weekly, and monthly computer usage. Exercises can be shown at the start of a rest break, and settings control break lengths, intervals, and enforcement strictness.
