Wet Ink

Wet Ink is a platform for running writing-focused classes, workshops, self-paced courses and mentorships, in-person, online or hybrid. It centers on written assignments, providing tools for inline feedback, critique workflows, revisions, lessons and community spaces for writers.

Classes include a built-in critique system with configurable distribution and visibility rules, a revision editor with side-by-side comparison, custom highlighters, customizable assignments, and scheduling and class workflow controls. Lessons are built with a WYSIWYG HTML editor supporting audio, video, images, embedded questions and quizzes. Three class types are supported: group class, one-on-one mentorship and self-paced. Private communities offer writing prompts, discussions, book sharing, submission calls, feedback tools, leaderboards and a collaborative writing game. Class content can be archived and exported to participants when a class ends.

Wet Ink is aimed at instructors, writing programs and writing communities. Pricing is student-based: an on-demand monthly plan charged per class, an annual standard plan per class, and an annual K-12/Higher-Ed plan with unlimited classes, with volume discounts at higher student counts. A free tier allows one class at a time for up to four weeks and eight students, and a 45-day trial is available. An optional community add-on is priced per member per month. Only students are charged; instructors and administrators are not.
