Wasmer

Universal compute. Built for AI

Visit Wasmer

Wasmer is a WebAssembly runtime and deployment platform that lets developers run applications in lightweight sandboxes on their own machines or in Wasmer's cloud, and publish apps to Wasmer Edge. It addresses the need for portable, isolated execution across different languages and hardware, with a registry of ready-to-run packages such as Bash, PHP, Python, Node.js, SQLite, Postgres, FFmpeg, and Pandoc.

The runtime supports multiple languages and package ecosystems, including Rust, Python, JavaScript, Go, and Ruby, and runs on platforms from iOS and Android to Windows, macOS, Linux, servers, and browsers. It offers metering for deterministic instruction limits, headless operation, chipset support across x86_64, Apple Silicon, and RISC-V, and pluggable runners including WCGI, WASI, Emscripten, and custom backends. Compilers include Singlepass, LLVM, Cranelift, Browser, and JavaScriptCore. Wasmer Edge provides deployment templates for frameworks such as Next.js, WordPress, Django, Nuxt, Laravel, Hugo, Astro, and Vite.

Wasmer is aimed at developers, teams, and organizations deploying web applications and services. It offers a free Hobby plan for low-traffic projects, a Pro plan with a free trial for professional use, and an Enterprise plan with custom terms. Pro and Enterprise include usage-based allowances for requests, bandwidth, active CPU, memory, storage, and other resources, with additional charges beyond included limits.
