UUSEC WAF is a web application firewall and API security product designed to protect websites and APIs from a wide range of cyber threats. It addresses the challenge of defending against both known attacks and emerging zero-day vulnerabilities, aiming to reduce the need for constant rule updates and manual intervention. The product provides a three-layer defense covering the traffic, system, and runtime layers.
Its capabilities include machine learning-based anomaly detection for intelligent zero-day defense, a self-developed cache cleaning feature for CDN acceleration, and proactive defense through host-level intrusion prevention (HIPS) and runtime application self-protection (RASP). It also incorporates semantic analysis engines for SQL, XSS, RCE, and LFI detection, alongside a rule engine that supports both traditional rules and Lua script extensions. The product integrates with nginx and LuaJIT.
UUSEC WAF is intended for website administrators and security professionals. It is offered in a free Community Edition, which supports up to 16 sites, as well as a paid Professional Edition and a custom-priced Business Edition. The commercial versions provide additional features such as unlimited sites, machine learning, HIPS, RASP, and cluster management.
