As sites earn certifications, they display trustmarks to address visitor concerns about legitimacy and security. The service replaced the McAfee SECURE trustmark, which was retired in 2021.
The platform offers an extended portfolio of earned certifications and trustmarks, including a floating trustmark. Integrations are available for Shopify, BigCommerce, WordPress, Magento, Weebly, and Ecwid, with support for platforms that accept custom code. Add-ons include Diagnostics for identifying issues like missing images and broken links, and Search Submission for sitemap generation and submission.
TrustedSite is aimed at ecommerce businesses and online merchants. Plans are based on monthly visit volume, with a free plan that displays a floating trustmark for up to 500 visits per month. Paid plans can be billed monthly or annually, with additional charges for visits beyond the included limit. Higher-traffic sites can contact the company for a tailored plan, and Diagnostics and Search Submission are available as monthly add-ons.
