Trelby is a free, open-source, multiplatform screenwriting program. It enforces correct script format and pagination, offers auto-completion and spell checking, and supports multiple views (draft, WYSIWYG, fullscreen). It can import and export various screenplay formats (Final Draft XML, Celtx, Fountain, Adobe Story, Fade In Pro, PDF, HTML, RTF, formatted text) and includes a name database, scene/location/character/dialogue reports, script comparison, and a configurable PDF generator with watermark and font embedding.
