Talkyard

Community forum for questions, feedback, and discussions

Visit Talkyard

Talkyard is a community forum platform for asking questions, reporting problems, suggesting ideas, and holding open-ended discussions and chat. Topics are organized into categories such as support, ideas, issues, development, and releases, with sorting by activity, popularity, and newness, plus tags and a users directory. A support chat is available for quick questions.

Features include OpenID Connect (OIDC) single sign-on, API access, daily off-site backups, HTTPS with custom domains, and an email service. The platform can be self-hosted or hosted, with an Enterprise option offering a dedicated server or on-premise deployment and a commercial license for those who cannot use AGPL open source software. An API supports integrations, and the forum can be embedded in iframes for blog comments or full forums.

Talkyard suits community managers, support teams, and organizations running public or private forums. Hosting is offered in four plans — Business, Standard, Startup, and Almost Free — each with a one-month free trial, differing admin seat counts, storage allowances, and monthly limits on new replies and pages. Add-ons extend admin seats, views, and storage. Discounts are available for non-profits, hobbyists, and organizations in developing countries.
