Synder is an accounting automation platform that connects sales channels, payment processors and point-of-sale systems to accounting platforms and ERPs. It addresses the manual work of recording transactions across multiple channels by syncing sales, fees, refunds and taxes automatically, and by reconciling those records against clearing accounts before month-end close.
The platform offers three products: Synder Sync for multi-channel bookkeeping, Synder RevRec for GAAP-compliant revenue recognition, and Synder Insights for business analytics. Core features include multi-channel data sync, historical data import, sales tax automation, invoice matching, journal entry creation, multi-currency accounting, product matching, auto reconciliation, transaction categorization, inventory tracking and financial reporting. It connects with platforms such as Shopify, Stripe, Amazon, PayPal, Square and Clover, and syncs to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Sage Intacct, NetSuite and Intuit Enterprise Suite. Two sync modes are available: Per Transaction Sync for line-by-line detail and Summary Sync for consolidated daily, monthly or payout-based entries.
