Smore is a newsletter builder for K-12 educators, schools and districts, designed to help them create and distribute updates to families, staff and students. It is a SchoolStatus company, and its newsletters can be shared through email, websites, social media and mass notification systems.
The platform includes a drag-and-drop editor, customizable templates, translation into 130+ languages, brand kits, and analytics for tracking open rates, clicks and poll results. It supports file attachments, event RSVPs, YouTube embeds, polls, PDF/JPG export, scheduled sends and Canva header integration. Smore integrates with SchoolStatus Connect and SchoolStatus Attend.
Smore is available for individual educators and for teams through Smore for Teams, which adds collaboration, shared folders, branded templates and enhanced analytics. A free trial is offered without a credit card. Individual plans are Basic, Pro and Premium, with increasing monthly email send limits and features such as automatic translation and priority support. Teams plans are quoted separately and start at five users.
