It combines remote preliminary design with drone-based onsite design, mobile field data collection, and digital checklists, aiming to reduce revisions, change orders, and install-day surprises by keeping survey and design data in one place.

The platform includes PrelimDesign™ for remote estimates using satellite imagery, Nearmap, and LiDAR shading, and DroneDesign™ for onsite work with photogrammetry-generated 3D models, AI obstruction detection, real-time Viewshed shading analysis, custom array builders, and CAD export. Scanifly Mobile provides customizable checklists and digitized data capture. On-demand Scanifly Design Services deliver wireframes and AHJ-approved plan sets with engineering stamps. Integrations cover sales and proposal tools (Enerflo, Pipe, Energy Toolbase, SubcontractorHub), racking and BOM partners (IronRidge, Pegasus, K2 Systems, EcoFasten), plan set generation (Unirac, SnapNrack), plus a full API and Zapier.

Scanifly is built for solar sales reps, surveyors, designers, engineers, and installers. The mobile field app is included with any design product subscription; design services are available as on-demand resources within a Scanifly account, with outsourced drone surveys offered for an additional fee.
