Repetier is a desktop application for 3D printing that brings model preparation, slicing, previewing, and printing into a single program. It lets users import one or more 3D models, place, scale, rotate, or duplicate them on a virtual build plate, slice the plate, inspect the result layer by layer or by region, and send the print over USB or TCP/IP, via SD card, or through Repetier-Server.
The application bundles several slicers—Slic3r, Slic3r Prusa Edition, CuraEngine, and Skeinforge—and can also call external slicers. It supports up to 16 extruders with distinct filament colors, multi-part printing with automatic positioning, a G-code editor, manual control, and velocity painting. Repetier-Server provides browser-based access to printers from a PC, Mac, smartphone, or tablet, with webcam monitoring, timelapse video, multi-printer control, price calculation, preview images, a heatup and cooldown wizard, and firmware uploads. The Repetier-Informer app delivers push notifications for print events. Repetier-Firmware is the companion printer firmware.
Repetier-Host is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac, with installers that include Repetier-Server and the bundled slicers; the software is offered at no cost. Repetier-Server runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux, including small systems such as Raspberry Pi.
