NetLicensing is a cloud-based Licensing-as-a-Service platform that automates license delivery, activation, and management for software vendors and developers. It handles the licensing back-office so teams can focus on their product, supporting license delivery and activation around the clock without customer support involvement, with licenses managed in the field through the NetLicensing Management Console.
The platform offers ready-to-use and customizable licensing models, including Try & Buy, Subscription, Pricing Table, Multi-Feature, Floating, and Node-Locked, alongside an open architecture for extending new models. Integration is handled through a RESTful API and predefined client libraries, connecting with ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and IoT devices. An integrated shop supports online license acquisition with PayPal, Stripe, and FastSpring payment integrations. Additional capabilities include product usage tracking and analytics, cross-platform licensing for IoT, mobile, embedded, and on-premise environments, virtualization support, and encrypted data transfer. Hosting is available as cloud (SaaS) or on-premise (self-hosted).

It is packaged with a free Community plan for community projects, paid Basic and Premium plans with a free trial, and a customizable Select edition that adds a NetLicensing Agent, customer portal, dedicated managed environment, service level agreement, and priority support.
