Mobirise is a desktop website builder for Windows and Mac that lets users assemble pages from pre-made blocks, edit content visually, and publish to their own hosting, a free *.mobirisesite.com subdomain, or a custom domain. An AI feature generates a site draft from a text prompt.
The app includes blocks for menus, galleries, sliders, contact forms, shop blocks, blog features, popup builders, social feeds, and image editing. Extensions cover e-commerce via PayPal and Stripe, social media feeds, popup chat, form building, and code editing for HTML/CSS. Sites are built on Bootstrap 5 and are mobile-friendly by default. The base app is free for personal and commercial use, with free blocks and a limited number of AI generations per month. Premium themes, extensions, AI features, hosting, and site export are sold as paid bundles with different tiers for offline desktop use versus online AI generation and hosting.
