MintHCM

MintHCM is a free, open source human capital management system for HR departments and businesses, built on SugarCRM Community Edition and SuiteCRM foundations. It covers the employee journey from recruitment and onboarding through employment to offboarding, replacing spreadsheets and disconnected tools with a single system for personnel records, processes, and reporting.

Modules include Recruitment, Job description, Employer branding, Onboarding, Employee profile, Competences & skills, Employment history, Employee performance, Time management, Calendar, Travel & expenses, Resources booking, Leave management, Offboarding, Workplace, Analytics, and System administration. It offers an open API for integrations with systems such as SAP and Workday, CSV bulk import via an Import Wizard, role-based access controls, a mobile app, and AI features including an AI Agent and Mint MCP for connecting a large language model to the system. Payroll is not included and would need to come from another system.

MintHCM is aimed at HR departments and organizations managing recruitment, employee records, and related administrative processes. It is free to download, modify, and use without license fees, with costs limited to server upkeep; a demo and a cloud option are available. Support comes from the community forum or a professional implementation partner, and professional implementation services are offered.
