MicroSIP

Lightweight desktop softphone for Windows that connects to SIP providers and PBX systems

Visit MicroSIP

MicroSIP is a desktop softphone for Windows built on the PJSIP stack, intended for everyday business communication and VoIP use. It connects to standard SIP infrastructure, including SIP providers and PBX systems such as Asterisk-based deployments, FreePBX, and 3CX, covering office, remote, and hybrid work settings.

The application supports voice and video calls (H.264, H.263+, VP8, VP9), DTMF, SIMPLE messaging, and presence. Security features include TLS for SIP signaling and SRTP/DTLS-SRTP for media. Audio support covers a broad codec list including Opus, G.711, G.722, G.729, AMR-WB, and others, alongside WebRTC-based echo cancellation and voice activity detection. It is lightweight and portable, with configuration stored in an INI file, screen reader compatibility (NVDA), multilingual interface, and RTL language support.

MicroSIP targets office communication, remote and hybrid work, customer support desks, and small business VoIP deployments. The pages do not describe a free plan, trial, editions, or seat-based or usage-based packaging.
