Visit Memfault

Memfault is an embedded observability and OTA platform that helps teams detect, diagnose, and fix issues on deployed devices before customers report them. It collects coredumps, logs, and performance metrics from devices in the field, groups related faults, and prioritizes high-impact problems, reducing reliance on returns, site visits, and manual reproduction.

The platform includes Device Debugging, OTA Update Management, Performance Monitoring, and Product Analytics modules. OTA rollouts support staged releases, real-time release quality monitoring, and one-click abort. Performance Monitoring offers out-of-the-box and custom metrics with dashboards and automatic alerts. Device SDKs cover MCU (Firmware SDK), Android (Bort SDK), and Linux, working across connectivity options including Bluetooth, LTE, WiFi, LoRa, and Zigbee. SSO is supported via Google OAuth, Microsoft OAuth, and SAML-based identity providers.

Memfault is built for embedded engineers, engineering leaders, product managers, and customer support teams working with connected devices. It runs on MCUs with bare metal or RTOS, as well as Android and Linux devices. The company is SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR compliant. A sandbox environment is available for evaluation.
