Mathcha

Online mathematics editor for writing and sharing math documents.

Visit Mathcha

Mathcha is a WYSIWYG mathematics editor that combines normal text, math symbols, and graph or diagram drawing in a single document. It is intended for writing formulas and equations without requiring LaTeX knowledge, while mixing Text Mode and Math Mode in one place rather than serving as a general rich-text editor.

Features include a Suggestion Box for inserting symbols by name, category, or drawing; automatic bracket matching and height adjustment; keyboard shortcuts for common styles and symbols; and standard editing operations. Graphs and diagrams can be drawn and exported to SVG or TikZ, formulas can be saved as images or vector files, and documents can be printed to PDF. LaTeX can be imported and exported for Math Mode, and bibliography and citation support is included. The editor runs in a web browser, with a desktop offline version available for local use.

Mathcha is aimed at people who need to produce mathematical documents combining text, equations, and diagrams. It is available as a web app and as a desktop offline version; the pages do not describe a free plan, trial, editions, or seat-based or usage-based packaging.
