Liquibase

Liquibase Secure is a database change governance platform that brings database schema changes into the same delivery path as application code, infrastructure, and security. It addresses the problem of manual database deployments, disconnected pipelines, shadow SQL changes, and blind spots that create production risk and audit gaps. The platform covers three areas: Change Automation, Change Governance, and Change Intelligence, and supports more than 65 database platforms.

Change Automation provides CI/CD integration, developer self-service, database versioning, golden paths, and targeted rollback. Change Governance adds policy enforcement, access control, separation of duties, governed exceptions, and secrets management. Change Intelligence covers deployment visibility, DORA metrics, risk and drift detection, policy insights, audit evidence, and AI-driven remediation. Deployment Connectors integrate with ServiceNow, GitHub, Harness, and Terraform, and are described as an upcoming innovation release in private preview.

Liquibase Secure is aimed at developers, database and platform teams, and enterprises standardizing database change across teams and pipelines. Plans are packaged as Starter, Team, Business, and Enterprise editions, with capacity limits on database types and database targets, role-based access control on higher tiers, and standard or premium support with SLAs. Each plan requires a Professional Services package, and Liquibase-managed drivers, extensions, testing, and security patching are included.
