Much more than a modern app creator without coding
Kodular is a no-code app builder for creating Android applications without writing code. Built on MIT App Inventor, it provides a drag-and-drop visual designer for arranging interface components and a visual blocks editor for programming app logic. Projects are stored in the cloud and can be exported as APK files for distribution.
The platform includes a component library, Material Design elements, live testing through a Companion app, and project import/export via .aia files. It supports monetization components, push notifications through OneSignal, and a Web API component. The builder interface is available in 18 languages, and apps can be shared via QR codes.
Kodular offers a Free plan with limits on projects, asset size, and extensions, alongside a Premium subscription that removes those limits and enables monetization extensions. A separate Kodular Monetize add-on is available on a one-time activation plus usage-based pricing basis. There is no trial period for Premium, though the Free plan can be used to explore the platform.
