HTML5test
How well does your browser support HTML5?
HTML5test is a browser-based compatibility check that measures how well a browser supports the HTML5 standard and related specifications. It addresses the need to quantify feature support across browsers, helping users and web developers understand which parts of HTML5 are available in a given browser and how results compare with other browsers. The test does not cover every HTML5 feature, nor does it verify that detected features work correctly.
The score is calculated by testing many HTML5 features, with each feature worth one or more points. Coverage includes the main HTML5 specification, related drafts and specifications from the W3C HTML Working Group and WHATWG, and browser detection by WhichBrowser. The test is presented as version 8.0, dated June 2016, and the site notes that it has not been updated since then; an unofficial updated version is available at html5test.co. The test is not affiliated with the W3C or the HTML5 working group.
HTML5test is aimed at general users and web developers who want to assess browser support for HTML5. It is offered as a free web-based test, with no paid editions, trials, seats or usage-based pricing described. The site also accepts donations to support continued work and device acquisition for its testing lab.
