Honeydew is a shared semantic layer that compiles queries, metrics, and agent instructions from governed business logic, so BI tools and AI agents draw on a single source of truth. It connects data warehouses to BI tools and AI interfaces, with data processed inside the customer's data warehouse using their LLM provider.
Core capabilities include a Semantic Compiler that generates governed SQL, AI-assisted modeling with coding agents such as Claude, Codex, and Gemini, and a natural language interface. It integrates with BI tools including Tableau and Power BI, AI interfaces such as Slack chatbots and MCP agents, and platforms including Snowflake, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Microsoft Entra. Changes are version-controlled through a Git provider, with user identity propagation and role-based access controls.
Honeydew is aimed at data teams and organizations establishing a shared data model for BI and AI. It is packaged in Lite, Standard, and Enterprise editions, priced per user plus a platform fee based on active object tiers, with custom terms for Enterprise. A 14-day free trial is available, and there are no query limits on standard tiers.
