Hero Patterns

Visit Hero Patterns

Hero Patterns is a free collection of repeatable SVG background patterns for web projects. It lets users browse patterns, adjust foreground and background colors and foreground opacity, and download an unstyled SVG of the selected pattern for use in their own designs.

The site provides a pattern browser with appearance settings for foreground color, background color, and foreground opacity, plus a reset option. Each selected pattern can be downloaded as an unstyled SVG. Patterns are licensed under CC BY 4.0. The collection is maintained by Steve Schoger, a UI designer and illustrator, and is described as continually updated and free. The homepage also links to related resources, Heroicons and Zondicons, and to the maintainer's Twitter and Dribbble profiles.
