Helium

Helium is a free, color-coded student planner that brings classes, assignments, grades, and notes into a single view. It replaces scattered spreadsheets and syllabi with a unified schedule, a live grade tracker, and reminders that surface upcoming work before deadlines arrive.

The Planner offers Month, Week, 3-Day, Day, Agenda, and Todos views, with custom colors, filtering, search, and light/dark modes. A Grade Calculator projects grades from hypothetical scores or determines what is needed on a final to reach a target, while the dashboard shows At-Risk Classes, Progress vs. Pace, and Pending Impact. Assignments support categories, priorities, attachments, reminders, and reusable templates; notes can be linked to classes or kept standalone. Two-way sync with Google, Apple, and other iCal calendars is available, along with feeds for exporting schedules. Native iOS and Android apps and a web app keep data synchronized across devices, with push and email reminders.

Helium is aimed at students at every level, from middle school through graduate school and homeschool. It is free for all users, open source, and carries no ads or data sales. Sign-in works through Google, Apple, Microsoft, or email and password, and full data export and import are supported.
