Hatsu
A self-hosted bridge that interacts with the Fediverse on behalf of your static site
Hatsu is a self-hosted bridge that connects a static site to the Fediverse. It resolves searches for a site user or site URL to the corresponding user or post on the Hatsu instance, accepts follow requests, pushes new posts to followers, and backfeeds replies from Fediverse users to the static site. The process is automated after a one-time setup.
Hatsu uses feeds in JSON, Atom, or RSS as its data source rather than HTML pages with microformats2. It supports ActivityPub only, so it does not handle Nostr, AT Protocol (Bluesky), or other protocols. The project is described as a work in progress, and it is intended for people who self-host their own instance.
