Hatari
An Atari ST/STE/TT/Falcon emulator for GNU/Linux, BSD, Mac OS X, Windows and other systems
Hatari is an open-source emulator for Atari ST, STE, TT and Falcon systems, distributed under the GNU General Public License. It aims to emulate the original hardware closely so that older games and demos can run, rather than focusing solely on GEM applications. It runs on GNU/Linux, BSD, macOS and Windows, as well as other systems supported by the SDL library, and can also run in a browser.
Hatari emulates most ST and STE hardware, including raster interrupts, border effects and PSG sample sound. Joysticks can be controlled with cursor keys or a real PC joystick. Host directories can be mounted as an ST drive, or images from an original Atari hard disk can be used. TT and Falcon hardware such as the Videl video chip and DSP 56001 are emulated, though this support is described as experimental. Running the emulator requires a TOS image file, which must be created from an original Atari or replaced with the free EmuTOS.
