Gophercises is a free course of roughly 20 mini-applications, packages, and tools built in Go, each designed to teach a different topic. It is aimed at learners who have finished introductory tutorials and need practice choosing and completing side projects. Topics include channels, mutexes, goroutines, functional options, chaining, interfaces, parts of the standard library (io, time, and others), and reading command line input.

Exercises include a quiz game, URL shortener, choose-your-own-adventure web app, HTML link parser, sitemap builder, CLI task manager, phone number normalizer, deck of cards package, blackjack game and AI, file renaming tool, concurrency and caching work on an existing web app, recover middleware, a Twitter retweet contest CLI, an encrypted secrets API and CLI, an image transform service, PNG and SVG chart building, and PDF generation. Each exercise lists its topics and video length, with details and source code available. The course is free; access requires providing a working email address, and signing up grants immediate access to all published exercises.
