Visit FCEUX

FCEUX is an emulator for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Famicom, Famicom Disk System (FDS), and Dendy consoles. It supports NTSC (USA/JPN), PAL (European), and NTSC-PAL Hybrid modes, and is available in both Windows and SDL versions for cross compatibility. The project aims to combine accurate emulation with options for casual play and more advanced functions.

For advanced users, FCEUX includes tools for debugging, ROM hacking, map making, Tool-Assisted movies, and Lua scripting. The project is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator, merging elements from several FCEU branches into a single version. It is distributed as a free download, with Windows and Qt/SDL ports available.
