System Audio processing for macOS

Visit eqMac

eqMac is a system audio equalizer and volume mixer for macOS, processing audio across the operating system rather than within individual applications. It provides equalization, per-application volume control, spatial audio, headphone presets, and an HTTP API for programmatic control.

Features include a Basic Equalizer with bass, mids and treble controls, an Advanced Equalizer with ten fixed bands, and an Expert Equalizer with unlimited bands, gain, bandwidth, frequency and multiple filter types, plus graphical controls and a spectrum analyzer. The App Mixer adjusts volume per application, while Spatial Audio simulates listening environments. Headphone presets cover a large library of headphones, and separate left/right equalization is available. Super Presets switch automatically based on conditions such as output device or main audio app. Audio Unit hosting lets users chain Audio Units with eqMac effects. Volume and balance controls support HDMI, DisplayPort and other devices, with volume boost beyond 100%. The app supports built-in, Bluetooth, AirPlay, USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt, aggregate and multi-output devices. The HTTP API enables control from any programming language that supports HTTP. The interface can be customized in color, feature visibility and arrangement.

eqMac is available for macOS 10.13 and later on Intel and Apple Silicon. A free edition covers basic equalization, headphone presets, device support, volume and balance, and the HTTP API. Pro features include the Expert Equalizer, App Mixer, Spatial Audio, Audio Unit hosting, Super Presets, separate left/right equalization, cloud sync, file rendering, virtual output and remote control from iOS, iPadOS or Android devices. Pro is offered as a subscription or a lifetime license, with a one-device license per subscription and a one-Mac license for the lifetime option.
