Double Robotics

Telepresence robot for the hybrid office

Visit Double Robotics

Double 3 is a self-driving, two-wheeled videoconferencing robot for remote workers and students in hybrid offices and classrooms. It gives people who cannot be physically present a way to move around a space and take part in conversations and activities on site.

The robot uses an array of 3D sensors to map its environment, avoid obstacles, and reach destinations. Click-to-Drive marks safe areas on the floor so the driver can select a point and the robot navigates there. Mixed reality overlays add virtual 3D objects to the video stream, including waypoints and the Charging Dock. Two 13-megapixel cameras provide a wide field of view with multiple zoom levels, and the unified pan-tilt-zoom system physically tilts for tasks such as reading papers on a desk.

Double 3 is aimed at individuals and organizations supporting hybrid work and learning. The product page lists it as sold out; no plan, trial, or edition details are stated.
