Domoticz

Open source home automation for your smart home devices

Visit Domoticz

Domoticz is an open source home automation system for monitoring and configuring devices such as lights, switches, and sensors and meters covering temperature, rain, wind, UV, electricity, gas, and water. It runs locally without a cloud dependency, keeping data and automations on the user's own hardware, and can send notifications and alerts to mobile devices.

The system supports hardware including RFXCOM transceivers, Z-Wave, Zigbee, MQTT, P1 Smart Meter, YouLess Meter, Philips Hue, 1-Wire, and EnOcean, with auto-learning of sensors and switches. Automation and scripting are available through dzVents, Lua, Python, and Blockly, alongside schedules and sensor triggers. The interface is a scalable HTML5 web frontend adapted for desktop and mobile, with iPhone and Android push notifications. It runs on Linux, Windows, Raspberry Pi, and Docker.

Domoticz is aimed at users who want local control of smart home devices and energy monitoring. It is free and open source, with no subscription or cloud account required; donations are accepted to support development and hosting.
