Codev is a platform for building and publishing full-stack web apps through an AI coding agent such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex. The user copies a prompt into their agent, describes the app they want, and the agent builds it while Codev handles hosting, backend, data storage, sign-in, and deployment.
Key capabilities include managed backends with records, sign-in, secrets, and proxy routes; private source and version history with rollback and exports; public, password, or email-restricted access; agent connections and API keys; and custom domains with automatic HTTPS certificates. Codev works directly with Claude Code, Codex, and other agents, using the user's existing AI plan.
Codev is aimed at individuals building personal tools or full-stack apps with an AI agent. It offers a Free plan for a first app with limited storage, requests, and backend capacity, and a Pro plan with higher limits, more owned apps, custom hostnames, and email support. Pro is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
