Cloud-IAM is a managed Keycloak-as-a-service platform that deploys, monitors, and scales Keycloak for customers, removing the need to operate the underlying infrastructure. Provided by a joint venture of French companies ELLIXO SAS and FGRibreau SARL and launched in 2018, it offers dedicated high-availability deployments across multiple cloud providers and regions, with automated backups, disaster recovery, and 24/7 expert support.
The platform provides vertical and horizontal scaling, single or multi-region architectures, and integration through its API, Keycloak's native endpoints, and custom SPI implementations. It supports custom extensions and theme editing without downtime, along with full data export. Clusters can be hosted on Scaleway, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon AWS, Azure, or 3DS Outscale, with hourly encrypted backups stored in multiple regions. Certifications and compliance include ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 type 2, NIS 2, GDPR, HDS, and SecNumCloud 3.2.
Cloud-IAM targets teams needing IAM, CIAM, and IdP broker use cases, from startups to large enterprises. It is packaged in a free plan for up to 500 users, plus Starter, Essential, Premium, and Max editions, with monthly or yearly billing and usage tiers based on the number of users managed.
